Margarete Steiff GmbH, manufacturer of the highest quality plush products, created the first teddy bear in 1902. Handmade in Germany and marked with the traditional Steiff "button in ear", the HBC Voyageur bear stands 25cm tall. Fashioned from 100% mohair, the bear is based on a classic Steiff design from 1927.
